Bobby started his career out of the University of Wisconsin as a Registered Representative for First Investors, a Wall Street mutual fund group. He then went on to work for one of the top consumer finance groups in the country, ITT Finance, managing over 200 million dollars in annual deal flow.
Five years later Mr. Taylor became an entrepreneur by founding Atlas Home Mortgage and Financial Consultants. Since then, Mr. Taylor has been a steady contributor to the economic development landscape by offering his insights and expertise to prestigious organizations such as the US Conference of Mayors, The League of Cities, Fortune 100 home builders and private developers. These relationships lead him to financing over 3 billion dollars in projects funded through commercial lenders, private equity groups, high net worth individuals and bond inducements through municipal development authorities. His strategic and guiding role in these projects underscore his commitment to fostering economic growth and development across communities. Furthering his commitment to economic development, Mr. Taylor serves as an Economic Attache for two United Nations Inter-Governmental Organizations where he advises senior leaders on economic development and finance policy for their African initiatives.
Prior to his career in finance, Mr. Taylor distinguished himself athletically at the University of Wisconsin as a football player. His achievements on the field lead him to be drafted into the National Football League and is now an active member of the NFL Alumni Association working on affordable housing initiatives, reflecting his drive for excellence, success, and community involvement in every endeavor.
